Karak: Lawmaker Malik Zafar Azam has directed the public health engineering department to complete ongoing water supply schemes on an urgent basis, a news source reported.

He expressed his views on the matter during a high-level meeting. Deputy director public health engineering department Rafiullah Afridi and tehsil nazim Haji Abdul Wahab were all present at the occasion.
The participants were informed that the officials concerned would expedite work on the water supply schemes launched during the previous tenure of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

The also decided to evolve a mechanism to reactivate the closed water supply schemes in the district. They said that the mega scheme fetching water from Lawagher dam to a majority of the localities of PK-86 constituency would be completed on a priority basis.
