Hyderabad: Officials of the Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) on Thursday expressed their dismay over the presence of live wires in public spaces – a news source reported.

Chief Engineer Chaudhry Abdul Razzaq and Director Health & Safety PEPCO Tufail Ahmed Sheikh provided their views on the matter during a visit to the city.
They directed the officials concerned to identify and remove high and low tension electricity wires on an immediate basis. The said officials were also directed to maintain safety standards while working on the task assigned to them.

The PEPCO representatives visited Hali Road and other areas, and identified broken live wires in these places. Superintendent Engineer Abdulsattar Sohu, Deputy Director Technical Faiz Muhammad, and Deputy Director Safety Mushtaq Ahmed were all present at the occasion.
