Lahore: The first batch of rolling stock for Orange Line Metro Train Project (OLMTP) has reached Lahore, according to a new source. It is currently parked in a depot near Lahore Ring Road (LRR)’s Quaid-e-Azam Interchange.
According to details, over 75% of civil work on OLMTP has already been completed. For the project 27 sets of train are being imported from China, of which 23 will reach Lahore by the end of this year. The train will facilitate over 250,000 passengers on a daily basis, reducing their travelling distance to 45 minutes.
