Lahore: The trial run of Orange Line Metro Train has begun on Package II as well, a news source reported. The project itself is set to complete in about 2 months.
Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Khawaja Ahmed Hassan inaugurated the trial service from Ali Town Station. The train travelled a distance of nine kilometre distance on Package II in half an hour, at a deliberately low speed for the test run.
Khawaja Hassan informed the reporters that track has already been laid on 20 stations out of a total of 26. He also said the work on remaining stations will be completed in the next month.
