Islamabad: Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has invited pre-qualification expressions of interest (EOI) from reputed companies for the development of OPF Town. OPF Town is located in Rawat, Rawalpindi, on Kallar Saydian Road; 1KM from the main GT Road.
Interested parties will be required to make presentations of their proposals when required by OPF. A two-stage bidding process will be held. Afterwards, an open competition will be held between prequalified applicants to finalise the best proposal.
The foundation intends to develop the projects through joint arrangements/agreements on EPC/turnkey basis. OPF will provide the land for the chosen project. The selected firm will be responsible for overseeing the design, land consolidation, town planning, civic agency approvals, development/construction work, and completion of the project.
The prequalification documents can be obtained from the office of OPF Director General (Housing & Works Division) during office hours. These require a payment of PKR 3,000 (non-refundable) in the form of a demand draft in favour of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation. An additional amount of PKR 300 has to be paid if the documents are requested through registered mail.
Proposals have to be submitted at OPF offices in Sector G-5/2, Islamabad, by 4 PM on February 6, 2019.
