Rawalpindi: The Punjab Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department (ETNCD)’s Rawalpindi branch continued with its crackdown against property tax defaulters and sealed 45 units on Wednesday, according to a news source. The operation was carried out in both zones of the city.
The branch also recovered property taxes worth PKR 2.5 million on the spot. From this crackdown, the branch is expected to recover PKR 5.6 million in terms of due property taxes. The operation was carried out by different teams under the supervision of Zone I Excise Tax Officer (ETO) Suhail Sabir and Zone II ETO Riaz Qureshi.
