Jacobabad: Municipal and police staff under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Bilal Saleem conducted an anti-encroachment operation along Quaid-e-Azam Road, according to a news report. Encroachments, including carts were removed along several other roads as well.
As a result of the operation, Mazdoor-Shehri Ittehad President Ghulam Nabi Rand held a meeting with Municipal Chairman Abbad Jhakhrani. After the meeting, Rand told media that Municipal Chairman has promised to provide 200 shops to hawkers.
A similar operation was conducted in Miro Khan Chowk area in Larkana, and encroachments cleared in the area.
