Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday (October 7) inaugurated an Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab mobile application, Markaz Maal, and 24/7 helpline to facilitate overseas Pakistanis, according to media reports.

As per the details shared, the CM disclosed that the non-resident Pakistanis can now get their property documents and access land records from OPC app. He went on to say that a helpline has been made operational so overseas Pakistanis can register their complaints or problems 24/7.
Moreover, CM Buzdar chaired a review meeting to check the progress on board of revenue reforms. He revealed that the total number of Dehi Markaz Maal will be increased to 8,000 to enhance public access to their revenue records. Currently, the number of Dehi Markaz Maal is 1,052 in Punjab.

Furthermore, the CM ordered to expand the scope of digital land record service by adding issuance of inheritance certificates from Dehi Markaz Maal. He also directed to complete the pending revenue cases as soon as possible. CM was briefed that the pending cases have decreased to 43,000 because of the online revenue case management system. He was also informed that 1.8 million Khasra Girdawari have been digitised.
