Quetta: The Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHA-F) has begun allocating apartment units in its Kachkak Road Quetta Project on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the official advertisement on the website. The apartment’s overall worth is PKR 4.39 million, which is less than the market rate.

The advertisement also mentioned that the apartments are available on 36-month instalment plan. Some of the salient features of the project are as follows:
• Located on the Quetta-Chaman highway
• Community’s owns mosque, schools, and a parking lot.
• Playgrounds and green belts
• Contemporary infrastructure with all modern conveniences
• Large road network
• Gated community
The advertising also includes the terms and conditions for booking a unit. Widows of federal and provincial government employees are also eligible to apply for the flat in their late husband’s name. Similarly, participants who have previously received an apartment or plot in the PHA-F Islamabad Quota are ineligible to apply; nevertheless, they can apply as common citizens in the plan.

On the other side, the PHA-F has offered membership/allotment of houses and flats to the heirs of Hazara community martyrs. The allocation is only available to martyrs who died before June 30, 2019.
The members can apply for the allocation of ‘grey structured’ houses and apartments. The two types of grey structure homes are available in categories 3 (1,625 sq ft) and 4 (1,164 sq ft). Moreover, 2-bedroom apartments spanning over 1,195 sq ft are also available. The units can be reserved with a 15% down payment, and the total price of these units start at PKR3.5 million, which is payable in 12 tri-monthly instalments. The deadline for submitting an online application form in the said scheme is July 13.
