Quetta: Commissioner Quetta Division and Chairman Divisional Coordination Committee Usman Ali Khan said that any hinderances in the completion of new and ongoing development projects should be eliminated as soon as possible for their timely completion, a news source reported. He made this statement while chairing a meeting of the Divisional Coordination Committee held to discuss the progress of projects undertaken in the region.

The commissioner emphasised the importance of focusing on the provision of various facilities to distant, underdeveloped areas, specifically talking about the construction of proper roads and the provision of clean drinking water, healthcare and educational facilities. He added that the quality of all development projects needed to be improved.
During the meeting, Khan gave orders to all deputy commissioners and directors of development to give utmost importance to the satisfactory quality and timely completion of all development projects. He reiterated that these should not be compromised in any way. He added that providing basic facilities, such as clean water and education, to the people should be the top priority of development bodies.

The commission reached a decision that delayed fund transfers to concerned bodies and similar problems encountered by development authorities should be eradicated for the smooth and timely completion of all projects.
