Islamabad: The Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), who is also the Islamabad Mayor, Sheikh Anser Aziz was briefed on the progress of on-going development projects in Islamabad, according to a news source. The meeting was held in the CDA Headquarters.
The projects on which the Chairman was briefed included landslide prevention projects at dangerous locations on the road connecting the Islamabad Zoo and Pir Sohawa, the construction of Pak Day Parade Ground at Exhibition Road, and the construction of Khayaban-e-Margalla from GT Road to D-12.
The CDA Chairman was also given details on the status of development work on the Islamabad Expressway from Zero Point to Faizabad Interchange, including development of the interchange at I-8 intersection, and the construction of Koral, Sohan and Khanna intersections. He also received updates on lane marking on Kashmir Highway from Peshawar Morr to Golra Morr, on which he proposed a tapering adjustment of Kashmir Highway median between Zero Point and the Peshawar Morr Interchange.
