Lahore: For setting up moving walkways as part of the Orange Line Metro Train Project, built on the walkway pattern available for the passengers in Allama Iqbal International Airport, PKR 3 billion has been demanded, according to a news report.
The walkways will connect Bohar Wala Chowk with Lahore Railway Station, and Purani Anarkali with Jain Mandir. Reportedly, funds for this project were not reserved in the Punjab Annual Development Funds. Therefore, the summary for additional funds for two walkways on Orange Line Metro Train Project will be sent to the Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and the Cabinet for approval.
