Okara: The Okara Railway Station remodelling project, which envisages the reconstruction of the main platform, conversion of a 4km-long single track into double, and the demolition and reconstruction of rooms from the British era, is facing delays.
The project was proposed to be completed within two months but sits incomplete after the passage of six months.
According to a news resource, the inordinate delay in construction is compounding problems for visitors and the contractors are engaged at small stations like Renala Khurd, Habibabad, Kissan and Akhtarabad.
