Reportedly, the OGDCL provided the government of Pakistan with a report detailing the volume and per-day output of the wells. The Drill Stem Test-1 (DST) in the Basal Sand tested 1,400 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 5.02 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) of gas, according to the regulatory filing.
The gas reserves have been part of the company’s major exploration drive with 95% stake, and the remaining 5% with Government Holdings Private Ltd. Similarly, the OGDCL stated that the gas reserves discovered in Rajanpur are of a lower size. However, DST-1 into the Parh and Fort Munro/Mughal Kot formations flowed gas at a rate of 1.24 mmscfd. The well-tested 0.489 mmscfd gas was injected into the Fortmunro and Mughal Kot formations in DST-2.
