Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) has issued offer letters to some 5,986 members of Bara Kahu housing scheme – a news source reported.
Informed sources within FGEHF said that there are 6,772 plots in the scheme. These plots have been divided into three categories, for allotments to federal employees.

Secretary Housing and Works Dr Imran Zeb previously said that there was a possibility of an increase in the prices of plots. He added that the project had remained in a stayed condition for the last 10 years.
He said that the original agreement was signed in 2009, with the project scheduled for completion within 24 months. But several legal issues had resulted in the project’s 10-year-long delay.
