When we think of large farmhouses surrounded by the most beautiful, colourful flowers and lush green fields, we are often thinking of scenes from a romantic film – certainly not Karachi. Farmhouses are usually associated with rich and classy bachelors who have a taste for high-quality living and can make any woman swoon in an instant. Well, we can’t guarantee swoon-worthy bachelors but we have seen many people swooning over the farmhouses in DHA Oasis Phase I. So if you missed out on these, don’t fret – the developer plans to launch DHA Oasis Phase II soon, which will include luxurious farmhouses and chalets!
From what we know, the farmhouses and chalets have been intricately designed, with stunning exteriors and gorgeous interiors that cater precisely to the investor with an aesthetic eye. As limited information is available regarding the newly announced Phase II, let’s discuss Phase I first.
DHA Oasis Phase I’s roaring success
The farmhouses located in Sector I of DHA City Karachi, on the main Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway, span 2,000-, 2,500-, or 3,000-square yards. Well designed and equipped with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms, a modern kitchen, and lots of luxuries including swimming pools, barbeque areas, and plush green lawns. It’s no wonder that they were sold out in such a short time.
They are undoubtedly praiseworthy and clearly investors feel the same way. Prices of farmhouses in DHA Oasis Phase I have nearly doubled due to high demand. The original prices of the farmhouses are listed below:

Although the project definitely caters to the elite, the price tag seems reasonable based on what is offered. However, as mentioned above, these were the initial prices at the time of inception – they’re much higher now!
While cheering on the success of Phase I, let’s move on to the upcoming DHA Oasis Phase II.
What will Phase II be like?
DHA has announced the imminent launch of Phase II of DHA Oasis. This time around, the developer is also offering chalets along with farmhouses to cater to the high demand. Speedy development work is currently underway in the area, which is hardly surprising as DHA is probably anticipating a high profit from this promising project.
We contacted the DHA Head Office for more information regarding pricing plans and sizes of the residences but learnt that the developer is not sharing these details just yet. However, we do know what types of facilities the area will offer.
Besides being set on a vast area of green landscape, the locality will have foolproof security – which is a necessity in Karachi! The privacy will facilitate a peaceful, relaxing farmhouse experience.
The area will also have an entertainment centre that will include a Cineplex, a riding club, a drive-in cinema, a country club, central masjid, shopping mall, and a mini zoo. For now, that sounds like entertainment enough!
Yet, whether the project will be able to replicate the success of Phase I depends on the progress of development work, delivery time, reliability, and other factors. We certainly hope DHA remains true to its word.
