According to the company’s estimate, the cost of preparation of PC-I of the 220KV Jhampir 2 grid project is PKR 10.753 billion and the funding required amounts to PKR 6.4 billion. The company is in talks with a consortium of banks to finalise terms and conditions of this funding.
The NTDC hopes to establish its own strength in the market with this loan, which is likely to become a precursor for more funding of upcoming transmission line projects.
