Lahore: The Punjab government has extended the deadline pertaining to the submission of NPHP applications in Lodhran and Renala Khurd till April 1 (today), a news source reported.

Provincial Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed recently expressed his views on the matter. He provided notification of the extension from March 31 to April 1.
He added that a large number of people were not able to submit their forms on Friday. The executive took the decision to extend the date in a bid to facilitate the public.
Meanwhile, the provincial government has decided to provide free of cost NPHP houses to the families of martyrs of the police and military in the two districts.

The minister said that the government would provide 50 free of cost houses (25 each in Renala Khurd and Lodhran) to the said families.
