Islamabad: The registration deadline for the federal government’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) is set to expire in two weeks (on November 15), a news source reported. Previously in October, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) had announced a one-month extension in the expiry date.

The authority recently reported its receipt of 200,000 new applications following its due date extension announcement. A NADRA spokesperson said that the number of applicants had jumped from 1.4 million to 1.6 within a period of two weeks.
Further, the official said that the registration process was in full swing; adding that many citizens were making use of NADRA’s e-sahulat centres for the purpose.

As per reports, aspirants can avail these registration services at the said franchises by paying an amount of PKR 250. Similarly, registrations, for both local applicants and overseas Pakistanis, can also be applied through NADRA’s website.
