Islamabad: Over 1.1 million from all over Pakistan have registered themselves for the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP); with the registration deadline (which opened on July 15) scheduled to expire on October 15 – according to a news source.

As per officials, the NPHP registration process is being carried out at the e-Sahulat franchises of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), as well as through the authority’s official website. A NADRA spokesperson recently revealed the province-breakdown of the applications, received from:
- Punjab = 477,337
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & tribal areas = 111,540
- Sindh = 540, 130,981
- Balochistan = 79,218
- Islamabad = 248,424
- Gilgit-Baltistan = 13,984
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir = 9,813

Similarly, the official also announced the application count registered from individual cities. With a total of 248,424 applicants registered, Islamabad topped the list. Faisalabad took the second spot with 106,371 applicants registered – with 101,483 and 72,072 submissions registered from Lahore and Quetta respectively.

Those looking to get themselves registered for an NPHP house can do so by visiting NADRA’s e-Sahulat centre in their respective districts; where they will be required to submit PKR 250 as processing fee payment, or by visiting www.nphp.nadra.gov.pk/nphponline/. There is no registration fee for applicants who wish to apply online.
