Lahore: More than 120,000 Pakistanis have registered themselves under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme in the recently opened online system for country-wide registration within a span of just 15 days – a news source reported.
The registration is set to continue for another two and a half months, and a large number of Pakistanis are expected to register.

According to a representative from National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), since the beginning of the registration on July 15, close to 125,000 Pakistanis have registered through the website launched for the purpose.
Any Pakistani can register for the scheme at NADRA’s website or the nearest eSahulat franchise with a registration fee of PKR 250.

The registration will continue until the end of September. The registration cycle was launched to determine an approximate demand for housing in the country. This will allow the authorities to implement the programme for constructing five million homes around the country accordingly.
