Sargodha: The Punjab government has decided to include Sargodha district in the list of cities that will have affordable housing projects being launched under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP), according to a news source.

The provincial government has instructed the district administration to identify appropriate sites for setting up the project. So far, the administration has reportedly identified at least three sites for the housing scheme. The executive will sanction approval for the final site.

As per reports, Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Mehmoord-ur-Rasheed will visit Sargodha this week for site inspection.
Sargodha Development Authority Chairman Haji Mumtaz Akhtar said that the administration work for society’s approval and related matters will start once the Punjab government finalises the project location.
