Lahore: Lahore Deputy Commissioner Capt. (R) Anwar-ul-Haq has asked assistance commissioners of five regions to submit a report on determining the apt location for Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP), reported a news source. The report is to be submitted in five days.
The assistant commissioners are to point out the appropriate locations for constructing affordable homes under NPHP. For this purpose, they will find out how much government-owned land is available within their respective domains, the on-ground situation of the land, and how far off is it located from the city. The information is vital to decide the most appropriate location for constructing these houses.
