Multan: Punjab government has revealed the location of around 500 low-cost apartments that will be built under Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) initiative in Multan, according to a news story shared national dailies on April 16.
As per the information shared by Housing Secretary Liaqat Ali Chatta, the government has given it’s go ahead to initiate Prime Minister Imran Khan’s flagship NPHP initiative in Multan by constructing 500 low-cost apartments near Madni Chowk. The secretary shared this information during a ceremony held under the Clean & Green Pakistan Initiative.

The secretary also mentioned that the flats will be constructed on the land owned by Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency. In order for people to be able to acquire the accommodation, banks will offer home loans at lower interest rate and easy terms and conditions, said Chatta. He praised the banking sector for extending cooperation with the private housing schemes in order to cater to a wider audience.
When asked about the delivery timeframe for NPHP apartments in Multan, Chatta said that the project would be complete at the earliest.
