Peshawar: The Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has taken notice of illegal forest cutting in Kalam and ordered an inquiry into the matter, according to a news report. He said that a detailed report should be submitted to him as soon as possible so that the culprits can be identified and also so responsibility can be fixed.
Khan said that the government would take a stern action against all culprits involved, as illegal forest cutting is a serious issue and causing widespread deforestation in the province. He also stressed that tree cutting is strictly banned in the province and that all measures would be taken to ensure it is followed.
