Lahore: The Ministry of Railways has decided to launch a non-stop train service, called Jinnah Express, from Lahore to Karachi – a news source reported.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate this train service on March 20. Pakistan Railways has fixed a fare of PKR 7,000 per passenger for Jinnah Express. For children, the amount is PKR 5,250.
The service facilities planned for Jinnah Express include air conditioned coaches, sofa seats, internet access, modern restrooms, and luxury berths. Moreover, passengers who book these rides 48 hours ahead of their planned journeys will be able to avail a 5% concession.

The Railways Carriage Factory will hand over 30 coaches to the Pakistan Railways by March 21. A work order was recently issued to this effect.
