Lahore: The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) has withdrawn the condition to obtain a no-objection certificate (NOC) for the transfer of properties in the Walled City.
According to a news source, the decision was taken after the authority was criticised by the residents at public hearings a month ago. Reportedly, the requirement to obtain an NOC was imposed in a bid to enable WCLA to regulate sale-purchase affairs.
