Islamabad: The Federal Government of Pakistan has decided to not include those who will file their income tax returns after the deadline expires on September 30 in the list of active tax payers, reported a news source. The information was shared by Finance Minister Asad Umar on Tuesday during his speech delivered on Finance Supplementary (Amendment) Bill 2018.
Furthermore, late filers will also be not able to avail benefits extended to those who files their income tax returns on time. Umar also revealed that an amendment has been made in the finance bill where the late filers of income tax returns will not be picked automatically for audit.
