A meeting chaired by National Assembly Opposition Leader, Shehbaz Sharif, discussed the name of NIIA, and the issue of delays in the project’s completion. The participants unanimously agreed that the project should be named as such in honour of the assassinated PM.
The attending officials also agreed that the irregularities delaying the completion of NIIA should be resolved before the renaming issues. The participants also reviewed and discussed the grants approved for the Airport Security Force (ASF) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
