According to the details, this decision aims to cater to anticipated traffic demands over the next 50 years. Abdul Aleem Khan emphasised the importance of future-proofing infrastructure amidst Pakistan’s growing population. He instructed the NHA to deploy live cameras across all construction sites to ensure transparency and effective monitoring. Additionally, Minister highlighted economic benefits, urging prioritisation of roads that can enhance national economic growth. He also mandated phase-wise construction of the PKR. 150 billion N25 highway in Baluchistan and emphasised third-party evaluations to optimise road repair investments.

Furthermore, Minister Khan directed the NHA to collaborate with the Gilgit-Baltistan government to resolve communication infrastructure challenges, underscoring the strategic importance of efficient transport networks nationwide.
