Lahore: The National Highway Authority (NHA) has invited proposals for consultancy services in order to conduct a feasibility study and preliminary research for the construction of the 115-kilometre (km) long Kharian-Rawalpindi road project, a news source reported.

The NHA will welcome a consultancy or engineering firm to carry out this task on a Built-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis, under a public private partnership arrangement. Interested firms can download the Request for Proposal (RFP) document from NHA’s official website free of cost.
The highway authority will hold a pre-proposal conference on November 7 at 11 am in the NHA Auditorium (Headquarters), Islamabad. The companies will have to submit their sealed proposal by 11.30 am on November 21, at NHA Auditorium, 27-Mauve Area, G-9/1, Islamabad.

The NHA will only accommodate proposals that fulfil all the stipulations provided in the RFP document. The authority will open the Technical Proposals on the day of submission at 12 pm. NHA will open the Financial Proposals of the technically qualified companies after the finalisation of the technical evaluation.
