The Hub-Dureji-Dadu Motorway motorway project will connect more cities in the country to the highway network and will be a part of the southbound track from Islamabad to Karachi. The NHA has sought consultation services for a feasibility study and detailed design for the construction of the M-7 Motorway. As per Project Concept-1 (PC-1), the motorway will have six service areas and is expected to reduce traffic on M-6.
The project will also be connected with the recently inaugurated 306-kilometre-long Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway (M-6), the groundwork for which was recently inaugurated by Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif. The Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway is the final segment of the Peshawar-Karachi Motorway, which will interconnect major cities in Pakistan.

It is important to note that Pakistan is developing multiple south and north-bound motorway networks under the China-Pakistan-Economic-Corridor (CPEC), which will connect China with Gwadar in Balochistan for trade. Under the project, Pakistan is expected to develop an elaborate rail and road network.
