Islamabad: The National Highway Authority (NHA) Executive Board has referred PC-1 for the construction of Chakdara-Chitral Road project (N-45)’s Section III to the Central Development Working Party (CDWP)/Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC), according to news published on March 29. As per the PC-1, the project is estimated to cost PKR 10.95 billion.

According to an official document, the board has directed the NHA to immediately award the contract for works on dualization and improvement of the 50-km long N-50 from Yarik-Sagu-Zhob: Package -1 Yarik-Sagu to the National Logistics Cell (NLC) Engineers. In addition to that, the Board also directed the authority to follow up on the approval of revised PC-1 of the 210-kilometre long Zhob Bypass.

The news source revealed that the executive board has approved Addendum No. 1 and 2 of NESPAK for consultancy Agreement for dualization and improvement of Old Bannu Road Project, Gandhi Chowk Sarai Naurang and Domail Khurram Sections.
