Lahore: NFC Cooperative Housing Society (NFCHS)’s Phase-II members recently staged a protest against the non-development of plots in the society, according to news sources. These individuals stated that the civil works (installation of gas, power) had remained stalled for 17 years.

They said that the rightful owners had not been granted the plot possessions despite fulfilling payment requirements. The affectees said that they had presented their stance on the matter before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

The NFCHS affectees said that they had paid over PKR 2 billion to the management committee of Phase II but the development work remained pending. They maintained that the society developers had wrongfully sold off LDA-mortgaged plots and that they also sold residential and commercial plots in violation of the Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA) laws.
