Rawalpindi: The authorities have approved 711 schemes, worth PKR 297 Billion under Annual Development Program (ADP), as per news reported on on July 4.

Rawalpindi Division has recently given the green light to a total of 711 schemes, with a significant emphasis on strengthening healthcare facilities and enhancing infrastructure. These schemes consist of 105 new projects and 606 ongoing initiatives, accounting for approximately 37.5 percent of the allocated budget.
Following are the details of the projects:
- Construction of a 138-kilometre tourism highway, from Lower Topa Murree to Chowk Pindori
- Construction of four bypasses in Rawalpindi Division to alleviate traffic congestion and improve commuting towards Murree
- PKR 4,187 million has been allocated to enhance connectivity and facilitate tourism in the area
- PKR 5.32 billion has been earmarked for improving maternal and child healthcare services through the Mother and Child Care Hospital project
