Quetta: The Balochistan Government, in view of rising pollution in Quetta, has prepared plans for the development of the provincial capital, a news source reported. Plans have been prepared under the vision of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Jam Kamal Khan.

According to Quetta Development Authority (QDA) Chairwoman Bushra Rind, PKR 262.671 million will be spent on widening, lighting, carpeting and renovating different roads of the city.
She further said that CM has directed for proper urban planning so that the past glory of the provincial capital could be restored.
She said the chief minister will monitor the work on the ongoing development schemes of Quetta himself.
The Chief Minister also approved a pilot project for local Green Bus Service, a few days ago. He was chairing a high-level meeting held to discuss affairs related to the Transport Department.

In the first phase of the project, 10 Green Busses will begin service on Sariab Road, Joint Road and Airport Road. If the project proves a success, the service will be extended to other parts of the city.
