Peshawar: Local Government Minister Faisal Amin Gandapur inaugurated the development work of the New Peshawar valley project and stated that the project will transform it into a model city, according to news published on August 21.

During the launching ceremony of the New Peshawar Valley Project, the minister disclosed that the letters of intimation were distributed to the people whose land was acquired. He went on to say that the project will be an eco-friendly beautiful city.
Additionally, the minister stated that the project will be an ‘architecture masterpiece’, featuring an artificial lake, playgrounds, sports, health facilities, and spacious parks. The project manager informed the attendees that the New Peshawar Valley project is five times bigger than Hayatabad. It will be developed in six major mawaziat of the Nowshera and Peshawar districts.

Sharing details of the said project, the project manager mentioned that it will cover 101,000 acres of land, which will cater to 800,000 people. Moreover, the New Peshawar Valley city will encompass 80,000 residential units that will spread over 3-marlas to 4-kanal of land. It was revealed that an additional 4,000 kanals were being acquired for wide highways.
