Islamabad: Construction of the New Gwadar International Airport will begin before June 30, states a news source. China will be providing a grant to ensure modern and state of the art facilities for the project.
According to details, Chinese companies will build the airport, while Pakistan Civil Aviation Division Chairman Irfan Elahi will act as the chief administrator of the project. Reportedly, the project will be completed in less than two years.
The news report has also revealed that the airport will accommodate the world’s biggest passenger plane. In addition, the new Gwadar airport will have a 12,000 kilometre long runway while the second runway will be added as per the requirement.
