Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday notified the accrual of PKR 7.32 billion realised through the auction of four commercial plots located within the New Blue Area, according to news sources.
This was the first day of the three-day auction. A CDA official expressed gratitude and said that the authority expected to generate PKR 7 billion in three days, which the highest bidders at the auction committee made possible on day 1.

According to the auction details, the highest bid of PKR 894.7 million was received for plot number one (spanning over 672.22 sq yds) – at a rate of PKR 1.33 million per sq yd. Meanwhile, plot number 4 measuring 2,000 sq yds secured the highest offer of PKR 2.11 billion at a rate of PKR 10.5 million per sq yd.
Similarly, the plot number 8 (spanning over 672.22 sq yds) was auctioned for the highest bid of PKR 857.7 million, and plot number 9 (spanning over 2,500 sq yds) was auctioned for the highest bid of PKR 3.37 billion.

Furthermore, the plot number 10 (measuring 3,333.33 sq yds) received the highest bid of PKr 3.18 – but remained to be approved by the auction committee.
The said committee is headed by the CDA Finance Member, with Planning and Design Member, Deputy Financial Adviser among other officials.
