Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday conducted the second episode of the New Blue Area auction and again received a ‘tremendous response’ from the attending investors, according to news sources.

In the two days, of the three-day auction of the commercial plots in New Blue Area of Islamabad, the auction committee has accumulated PKR 12.79 billion so far and has accepted highest bids for eight commercial plots. These plots are large and are located in a prime location of the federal capital.

The CDA committee followed up the auction of four plots PKR 7.25 billion on day one, with okaying highest bids for another four plots for PKR 5.54 billion. A total of 17 commercial plots are being offered to the developers in the three-day auction.
CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed said that the great response by the investors is a testament to their confidence in the authority and the Government of Pakistan.
