Karachi: The Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Saifur Rehman said that no negligence would be tolerated in cleaning works of drains, according to a news report. Rehman said that all contractors must focus on their work and complete the task by disposing garbage and waste from drains.
The commissioner visited various open drains in the city and had all officers pay attention to the ongoing work. He also directed the contractors to increase machinery and to speed up work for the cleanliness of drains. He also urged people along open drains to stop dumping waste in the drains.
