Lahore: The Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Plant project will be completed by April this year, a news source quoted Federal Minister for Power Abid Sher Ali. The project will increase electricity power production by 5,000 megawatts by this summer.
Ali told the media that power generation capacity has been increased from 13,000 megawatts to 21,000 megawatts in the tenure of current government.
The mega project is being developed at a cost of over PKR 500 billion.
