Lahore: Provincial Minister for Industries, Trade and Investment Mian Aslam Iqbal stressed the development of Special Economic Zones (SEZs), stated a news report. According to Iqbal, this would help increase investment and also generate new opportunities in the country.
While addressing a delegation of stakeholders and developers, Iqbal said that steps would be taken for rapid establishment of SEZs. He said that an action plan would be made and implemented for establishment of SEZs and that the Punjab Investment Board would be turned to a facilitation centre for investors. With the launch of one window operation, this board will provide facilities. He urged that all the available opportunities in Punjab across various sectors, should be fully utilised.
