Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Jam Kamal Khan has stated that his government has included uplift projects approved by the National Economic Council (NEC) in next year’s Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), a news source reported.

CM Kamal was attending the NEC meeting held in Islamabad, where he presented the said development programmes. He added that these NEC-approved projects pertained to construction roads, dams, youth development, Makran grid station, and higher education.
The CM stated that the provincial government is not just making claims, but has taken practical measures for the development of Balochistan. He further added that the upcoming federal PSDP will include projects of Grok, Nolang, Khuzdar, Burj Aziz, and Winder dams. He added that NEC has also approved the construction of the Zhob-Quetta-Hub double carriage highway and the Khuzdar-Wadh road section.

CM Kamal also expressed his confidence that Balochistan will receive its due share of national resources.
