Lahore: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and Punjab Excise and Taxation Board has signed an agreement to automate the system for collecting property taxes across Punjab, according to a news source. The two bodies will collaborate to get the new system in place.
Allowing online payments for property taxes will make it easier for people to pay their taxes on time and with convenience. At the moment, property taxpayers submit the amount manually through NBP branches.
