At present, commercial properties in the Blue Area belong to the CDA and the NAPHDA plans to start a joint venture there. The commercial land in Blue Area is highly coveted and the CDA has generated billions of rupees through auction of valuable commercial plots.
NAPHDA recently requested the Cabinet Division to seek input from the Ministry of Law and Justice on the former’s proposal to begin a public-public partnership with the civic agency. Under the project, NAPHDA and CDA are expected to jointly develop the area and bring it for sale purpose.
