Islamabad: The Federal Cabinet has finalised the name for new Islamabad Airport as Islamabad International Airport, according to a news report. This was done in a Cabinet meeting headed by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbassi.
This has emerged as a prominent project in the real estate market of Islamabad; and is a part of an extensive road and public transportation project. There are various road links that will emerge from here and spread to the rest of the city, connecting Rawalpindi along its way as well. A comprehensive Metro Bus Project is also underway and is expected to be inaugurated along with the airport project.
