Peshawar: The Peshawar City District Government project Namak Mandi Food Street has reached the final stage of completion and will be open for public in May, reported a news source. The announcement was made by Peshawar Nazim Muhammad Asim Khan during his site visit.
Khan inspected different parts of the food street, accompanied by Peshawar Deputy Commissioner Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh, Director Coordination Sahibzada Muhammad Tariq, Peshawar Assistant Commissioner Mughees Sanaullah and Namak Mandi Food Street Committee Chairman Mubashir Manzoor.
Khan believes that the food street will serve as the place to entertain city’s guests with traditional delights of the region and will emerge as the city’s new and cherished identity.
