Islamabad: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has signed an agreement with the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations and Coordination to provide quick services to cardholders under Sehat Sahulat Programme, according to news published on June 28.

The authority will support the ministry by providing a centralised information management system for the residents of Punjab. This will enable the residents throughout the province to avail free health services using their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) at government and private hospitals.
As per the details, NADRA will provide a digital solution system to the health ministry including Call Centre Services for feedback of beneficiaries, a Centralised Management Information System, Data Verification Services, a Hospital Services Module, and Data Hosting.

According to NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik, the authority has an exceptional infrastructure to support the government’s initiative. It is important to note that under the Sehat Sahulat Programme, 26.3 million families will be provided health coverage across the province.
