Reportedly, the ombudsperson visited the Blue Area centre and listened to public complaints. The team met with representatives from the NADRA facilitation centre. Director-General (DG) NADRA Brig. Talat Qayyum met with the team members and briefed them on the facility’s current modifications. He advised the team that the issue of crowding would be handled at the centre following the establishment of three new facilitation centres in Tarlai, Bhara Kahu, and Golra.
The ombudsman urged Nadra to set up separate facilitation centres for people who wish to receive expedited/fast-track services by arranging appointments. He also asked the authorities to work with the CDA and the capital administration to remove encroachments outside the Nadra centre and provide adequate parking space.

Additionally, the team requested the Nadra authorities to notify the applicants of the documents that were necessary in one go so that they would not have to return to the centre many times.
